Homework Policy
Both second grade and third grade students can expect homework consistently on weeknights. A one to two sided math page reflecting recent math lessons will be sent home each weeknight, which will be due the next day. Spelling lists will be sent home on Mondays, along with related spelling activities. These will be due back at the end of the week, on the day of the spelling test. Students will also be expected to read at least 30 minutes a night, and practice math facts at least 10 minutes a night.
Throughout the year, a variety of other projects will be sent home, such as science fair projects and book reports. More information on these will be given later on in the school year.
